01 — Thynk + Marketing Cloud

Sales lives in Thynk. Marketing has to live somewhere too.

Sales lives in Thynk. Marketing has to live somewhere too.

Sales lives in Thynk. Marketing has to live somewhere too.

Thynk handles the commercial side of your hotel — group bookings, events, accounts, sales pipelines, multi-property visibility. Clean Salesforce CRM purpose-built for hospitality.

Marketing is a different motion. Pre-arrival communications. Post-stay follow-ups. Reactivation campaigns. Personalized offers based on guest history. The journey logic that turns a single stay into a returning customer. That layer lives in Salesforce Marketing Cloud — and we activate it on top of your Thynk instance.

Together: a complete customer stack, from first sales conversation to lifetime guest relationship.

04 — Why hospitality is different

Hospitality SFMC isn’t generic SFMC.

Hospitality SFMC isn’t generic SFMC.

Hospitality SFMC isn’t generic SFMC.

Most Marketing Cloud agencies will sell you a journey builder and a welcome email. That’s not enough for hotels.

Most Marketing Cloud agencies will sell you a journey builder and a welcome email. That’s not enough for hotels.

Hotel SFMC has to handle: guest records that flow in from PMS, CRM, and booking systems with different IDs. Booking statuses that change between confirmation and arrival. Multi-property campaign management where one brand sends from multiple sender profiles. Loyalty tier logic that affects everything downstream. Deliverability across markets, languages, and inbox providers.

We’ve built this stack. We know where it breaks. We know how the Thynk data layer maps into SFMC and what hotel marketing teams can run themselves after handover versus what they’ll need help with.

That’s what the partnership with Thynk is for. They own the commercial data architecture. We own the activation.

Case study · Hospitality · SFMC + Thynk

Penta Hotels is the case study that became the template for this offer. A European hospitality group running on Thynk, needing Marketing Cloud activated cleanly across the property portfolio.

We built the SFMC instance, mapped the Thynk data layer into Data Extensions, set up the journey logic for guest lifecycle (pre-arrival, in-stay, post-stay, reactivation), and handed over an operating system the Penta marketing team runs day-to-day.

The Penta build informed the Foundations / Go-Live / Accelerator package structure. Everything we offer hotels now is shaped by what worked — and what we’d do differently — on that engagement.
