01 — The brief
A Caribbean cream liqueur brand entering new markets with a focused brand story to tell. The brief wasn’t a multi-page content site with a blog and category pages and an e-commerce checkout — it was a single, focused landing page that did the brand’s storytelling job and supported initial market-entry marketing efforts.
The temptation in this kind of brief is to oversell. Build the bigger site, justify the bigger budget, plan for the future content the brand might want eventually. We didn’t. The brand needed one page that told the story well and shipped on time. That was the work.
02 — What we did
01
Single-page WordPress build
Custom theme designed around the brand’s story — not a template, not a page builder, but a clean WordPress build that the in-house team can update without filing a dev ticket for every change.
02
Marketing analytics from day one
GA4 implementation, GTM container setup, UTM hygiene, conversion tracking, and the technical SEO foundation (schema markup, meta structure, performance optimization) that compound over time. Most one-page sites skip this work because they’re “just a landing page.” Skipping it means flying blind from launch.
03
Brand-aligned design and content infrastructure
Editable hero block, modular sections, content infrastructure that supports the brand’s voice without locking it into one designer’s mental model. The kind of foundation that lets the page evolve as the brand’s positioning evolves.
04
Launch and ongoing maintenance
Performance monitoring, framework updates, content updates as the brand’s marketing needs evolve. The maintenance work that prevents a launched site from slowly rotting.
03 — How the engagement runs
Fixed-price project for the build. Ongoing maintenance afterward at a light cadence — content updates, small feature additions, technical health monitoring. Senior front-end execution backed by a network of specialists for the technical lifting. We own scoping, project management, and quality control end-to-end.
04 — What changed
“
The site is fast, measurable, updateable by the in-house team, and not pretending to be more than it is. It’s a focused brand site that does its job.
The structural choice underneath: not every brand needs a 50-page content site. Sometimes the right answer is one page that tells the story well, ships fast, and stays lean. We made that call honestly and the brand got more value from a focused build than they would have from a sprawling one. The agency-bias toward bigger projects with bigger budgets isn’t always in the client’s interest. We tried not to pretend it was.
